bungalowBlonde primarily works with gold-plated jewelry.  Until now!!  Going forward, you’ll be able to find a (growing) selection of gold-filled jewelry on the website.  Why add gold-filled? Simply put, gold-filled jewelry has a thicker layer of gold - at least 5% pure gold by weight - that has been bonded with heat and pressure to the base metal (usually brass).  This results in durability for everyday wear with no tarnishing or fading (unless under unique circumstances) and safe for people with allergies or sensitive skin. Perfect for those bBJ pieces you can't leave the house without!  Additionally, it is much less expensive than solid gold, making it an ideal option for people who want to enjoy the look of gold without spending a fortune.
